“…Personality goes a long way.” – Quentin Tarantino
This is Copper. Copper is a 7 year old Beagle with an obsession for squeaky toys and literally, anything that can be eaten. If it’s edible, he’s going for it.
We took Copper to Freedom Park in Charlotte and captured some amazing shots of this guy. The park was busy, people were everywhere but we took a nice, long walk. As a senior dog, Copper was stretched to walk as far as we did, but he was surprisingly all spunk. As a hound, his nose went immediately to the ground and we followed him where his nose led him.
As mentioned, Copper’s number one priority in life is to find the food and eat the food. Any food. All the food. While in this shot it may seem like he’s watching the sun set on this beautiful evening, in reality, Copper was desperately trying to attend the cookout to the left of us.
We found this stretch of wildflowers and laid down in the grass, not a care in the world on that beautiful 75 degree Spring Sunday. Copper was lulled by the smell of hot dogs grilling and belly rubs.
I truly believe Copper was the happiest dog at the park that Sunday. We were happy to follow him and his nose as he sniffed out the park, found and devoured old crackers, pizza, candy, and god knows what else. We were just happy to share in that happiness.
